Did you know that 2009 marks the 100th year since the Silver Dart took off from Baddeck, Nova Scotia, becoming the first powered, controlled flight of our country?

We invite you to join us in celebrating 100 years of powered flight in Canada, to view our new displays and exhibits and to attend a variety of special events and presentations in honour of this monumental year in Canadian aviation.
